Book Review: Land Rover Discovery 1995-1998 Workshop Manual

This workshop manual covers all Land Rover Discovery model years 1995-1998. It includes detailed engine data and work instructions for both petrol and diesel fuel systems. Engines covered are the 2.0 Mpi, 3.9 V8i, 4.0 V8 petrol, and 300 Tdi diesel engines. This manual will help you with the maintenance, service, and repair of your Disco, for sure, it is very comprehensive. It is illustrated with photos and line drawings.  It is largish in format, at 11.4 x 8.3 x 1.8 inches.  The pages read in landscape format instead of portrait.  This is kind of useful as you can open it out flat for reference.

Overall, it covers just about everything, and does it well.  I have two complaints with this manual.  The first complaint is the price -  it was $120 US on Amazon.com at the time of this writing.  The second complaint is the navigation through the book is kind of awkward.  You start a job, and then have to reference this job and that other sub-job, and it just says see this other section, with no page numbers to point to, so you have to keep hunting for the sections you need.  And with no index, this can take time.
