The Minnesota Land Rover Club was started in 1984 and welcomes Land Rover owners and enthusiasts alike from throughout the state of Minnesota as well as surrounding areas to join them. You must be 18 years of age or old and have a current membership within the MN4WDA to join.
From their website:
"We are a 4-wheel drive auto club with the goal to introduce Land Rover enthusiasts to the fun, excitement and camaraderie of recreational off-roading. Twenty-five-plus years later, many of our original members are still with us. We are a diverse group of individuals, families and professionals with an equally wide-ranging preference in Land Rovers from the classic Series III to the new LR3. The majority of our membership owns more than one Rover and has an uncanny depth of knowledge about the brand."
MNLR has monthly meetings and hosts a large variety of four-wheeling and social events:
"We host a variety of events ranging from novice level green-laning to challenging local and long distance 4WD adventures that will test your strategy, stamina and skill.
Additionally, we organize road trips to other national Land Rover rallies, fall leaf tours, guided weekend fly-fishing and sport shooting retreats, an annual picnic with family camping (a 20+ year tradition!), ice driving challenges, car shows, drive-in movie dates and more! All of our trail events are on dedicated private land or state land that is authorized for off road motor sport recreation. We DO NOT condone off trail riding, trespassing on state closed trails or destruction of natural resources."
They even have an annual holiday party at Christmas time.

I currently live in Costa Rica and have owned two Land Rovers, both diesels from the 70s... my question is this: these things are everywhere here...the older vehicles are always kept in decent shape and my mechanic is among the best in the country. is there anyone there who would be interested in importing...or do you think that there is a market. Originally from Minneapolis, MN and have lived here for 8 years.
thanks
