The Freelander Club was created in November 2000 and is an international club but with most of its membership or activity in the United Kingdom.
They have an elected national Committee and then volunteer (or elected) members who organize local area meetings and events. They have regular monthly meetings that vary by region in the United Kingdom.
From the Freelander Club website:
"Our Local Area Representatives who organise events on a more localised basis. These can include social meetings, green lane days or private site days.
On a national level we can also organise driver training at tried and tested sites.
Whether your interests may lie in brushing up your off road skills or simply for the discounts the Club is helping to arrange for you, the Freelander Club is where to be!"
