The Liverpool echo reports that David Smith, CEO of Land Rover since 2008, is leaving the company. He will be replaced on an interim basis by Director Ravi Kant until a successor is chosen.
Land Rover claims his departure is not connected with disputes over pay and pensions changes between Land Rover and the union Unite.
