How-To: Diagnosis of Common Problems -- Range Rover Sport

n e ideas welcome. i have a 2006 hse sport range rover. onyl had it 2 weeks. but when in the P position and i turn car on. let it so its check and warm up . then turn car on and it comes up with refer to manual - transmission fault and park fault and brake fault. i turn car of and then it starts. when i have no gears. obv the car doesnt move and kinda stopped dead in the middle of cardiff last week at rush hour.

have anyone experienced problems with the switch cluster in the 1998 version of the rr sport mine quit working 2 weeks ago,i checked all fuses seems to good ,but nothing works.plus the sunroof is left open ,I don't know if occured on it's own or someone left it open.

I have a 07 range rover sport hse. With 34000 on the clock.the engine management light comes on then goes off and now I am experiencing a problem in exeleration mainly in low gear when pulling out of a junction ect. It's seems there's a delay of about 3 to 4 seconds before the car starts to pick up speed.has anyone else experienced these problems.

2006 Range Rover Sport has cost me a lot of money. Replace rear end transfer with 88,000 miles and now the modular. The first repair a hefty $4900. Let's see how mich the next one will be 2 months later. A hyundai last longer and cost much less. I would never purchase or recommend this car to anyone.

jUST CHECKING ALL THE PROBLEMS THE RANGE RROVE HAVE TO MAKE A DECISION TO PURCHASE.

HI has any one had problems with a 2005 sport auto oil leak on gear box . oil leaking from inspection cover at the front of the auto box . car back at dealers bought the car 6 weeks ago and dealer has had it it for 2 weeks 78000 on clock .got told it may be the radiator in gear box leaking coolant that made the seals leak !!!!!!!!!! PARTS ARE ON BACK ORDER but i dont trust what i have been told

we have a 2010 RR Sport. The bluetooth pairs with our Verizon Android 2 phone, but intermittantly, for no apparent reason, the bluetooth disconnects and drops calls. This is not related to service area and does it when talking to landlines as well as other cell#s. Dealer replaced the phone module and insists that the most current software is installed.

Driving us CRAZY!!! any ideas?

Lucky me - I just took delivery of my new RR Sport SC this past Wed. & on Fri. (119 miles later) the transmission went out. I just barely got into the throttle from a stop to beat traffic and I heard a loud "bang" and the car wouldn't accelerate. The engine rev'd up but the car wouldn't move. I let the RPM's drop down and then it seemed like the transmission was engaging and I was able to move a bit. The car got up to about 25mph or so and then I had to slow for traffic. When I tried to get the car moving again, it wouldn't move. That was it - time for a flatbed.

Anyone know what's up or had this happen??
