Windshield wipers wore out on your Land Rover? Justin Obrien from eHow tells you how to renew your windshield wipers and gives tips for diagnosing problems with them.

Determine if the tension spring in the arm is become worn out and will no longer move the windshield wiper back and forth. If this is the problem, purchase a new windshield wiper arm from your local auto store (have your Land Rover model and year ready for them) and install it by removing the old wiper arm that is held on by a single retaining nut under the base of the windshield.
Step 2
Examine where the windshield wiper arm attaches to your vehicle via a retaining nut can become loose and will not allow the windshield wiper to move back and forth. Fix this by putting the wiper in the standard down position and then use your pliers or vise-grip to tighten the loose nut.
